St. Elmo Brewing Co. Springdale – Austin, Texas

Engen Contracting recently completed the renovation of a 12,826 SF brewery and tasting room, transforming an existing Type VB building into a dynamic, multi-use space. The project included:

• Brewery Space: 8,655 SF of production area
• Tasting Room: 3,523 SF designed for an inviting guest experience
• Mezzanine Office: 1,294 SF of elevated workspace
• Outdoor Enhancements: A new 1,058 SF shade canopy for outdoor seating and a new roof over an existing 702 SF covered production area

This renovation combined existing tilt-wall and new pre-engineered metal building construction, with a full interior demolition and rebuild. A new sprinkler system was also installed to enhance safety and compliance.

By blending functionality with a welcoming aesthetic, this project delivers an upgraded experience for both brewery operations and guests.
